Project brief
The office space is located atop an existing structure in a residential neighbourhood and is surrounded by large trees.
The design captures the context by introducing an architectural intervention which sits lightly on the podium and uses the green umbrella around.
The office is strategised as a lightweight, temporary structure which can be dismantled and assembled while preserving most of its structural integrity without damaging the existing building.
A central courtyard together with the double-height vaulted ceiling provides abundant natural light and cross ventilation, creating a calm and inspiring workplace.
