Levitating House is a tropical contemporary style villa located in a residential area along the coastal region of Assagao in North Goa. The site offers expansive views overlooking plantations across a gentle hillside.
The villa derives its name from the seemingly floating upper volume that extends gracefully towards the rear green landscape. Designed as a refined getaway home for relaxation and entertainment, every major living space opens seamlessly into the backyard and swimming pool, creating a strong visual and spatial connection with the surrounding tropical environment.
Two upper-level bedrooms also overlook this lush landscape, strengthening the relationship between architecture and nature. Through the thoughtful use of locally sourced laterite stone, traditional Goan pigmented cement tiles, and polished pigmented concrete flooring crafted by local artisans, the residence celebrates regional craftsmanship while embracing contemporary living.
