One of the most famous landmarks in the United Kingdom, Stonehenge is an archaeological and cultural icon that depicts the remains of the Neolithic and Bronze Age. Believed to be constructed from 3000 BC to 2000 BC, the structure constitutes a ring of standing stones that are about 13 feet high and 7 feet wide. The biggest mystery lies in the fact that nobody really knows where they came from and how they managed to get into this arrangement. Though, it’s a given that they are the burial mounds!
