Golden Temple, India

Golden Temple in Amritsar is one of the sacred places for Sikhs. Surrounded by the vast manmade lake, the upper part of the temple is plated in copper meanwhile; the lower is embellished in luxe marble. The overall structure then got glided in gold in the year 1830. Century later, it still sets a perfect example of inspiration for the generations.
