Classical architecture was in Ancient Greece between the 7th and 4th century BC. It is best known for its religious temples built in stone, designed following principles of order, symmetry, geometry, and perspective. Notable characteristics of this style are the principles of the architectural orders, Doric, Ionic, and Corinthian.
