Working with an extremely tight budget and a constricting site , the client brief was to design a 20- key budget hotel along a busy beachfront. The design approach was to seamlessly blend the vibrant Goan beach shack typology with a clean, modern aesthetic which reflected the hotel brand. The louvered facade opens up views to the sea and also captures the sea breeze. The colours make the mass stand out along a beachfront. The landscape in front provides relief to the mass and also recreates the open dining areas which are intrinsic to the Goan beach vibe.
