Description: Levitating House is a tropical contemporary style villa located in a residential area along the Coastal areas of North Goa- Assagao. The site offers expansive vistas overlooking plantations along a gradual hill slope.

Levitating House gets its name from the seemingly floating volume of the Villa and stretches out towards the rear green fields. It is designed to heighten the experience of a get-away home meant for both relaxation and entertainment, built to cater to the requirements of the discerning inhabitants. The spaces are organised such that the living, lounging, entertaining and eating spaces all open out into the backyard with the pool as this space inherits the tropical landscape and hill in the horizon and connects the house visually with it. Two of the upper floor bedrooms look into this tropical expanse as well. Through the use of locally sourced laterite, Goan pigmented cement tiles, and local skilled craft like polished pigmented concrete flooring, the Villa harmonises with the environment and imbibes qualities of the Goan tradition.
